Other than the ear infections Logan has been doing good with his development. The doctor always comments about how solid and strong Logan is. He jokingly says that Logan will give us trouble as he gets older. I kindly commented it is already a challenge to pin the kiddo down to get a diaper on him. Here are the stats from his appt today:
Weight 29 lbs - 95th percentile
Length 33 1/2 inches - 97th percentile
Head 50 cm - 97th percentile
Here are some of the things Logan is enjoying these days:
- He is still a little book worm. He will bring books to you and back up into your lap so you will read it for him. Loves his trips to the library!
- Really enjoys walking all over the place. It is so funny to watch him swing his arms while he walks. He is a really good walker. Probably why it took him so long...he wanted to perfect it first....sounds like his dad!
- Loves to ham it up. Will keep doing silly things over and over if he can get a laugh out of you.
- Loves to shake it aka dance to music, any music...even organ music as we discovered when we were at my sister's church in IA.
- Enjoys playing at the park. Thankfully those visits haven't ended yet! He loves going down the slides all by himself.
- New words are: bah (ball), ni ni (night night), hea (head), pah (puppy). He will sometimes moo for a cow and say woof for a puppy. He will point to certain objects if asked while we read books. He will point to his head when we sing head n' shoulders but no other parts yet :-)
- Likes to take pots/pans out of the cupboards...really enjoys emptying any cupboard or drawer. Not too into clean up yet!
- Starting to have more tantrums from time to time. Oh the joys of a toddler!
- We are finding he is starting to get a little more picky with his food. One day he will eat his beans up the next day he won't touch them (I guess it also depends how he is feeling that day too). Overall I can't complain because he is a really good eater
- He eats really good with his spoon and does okay with his fork. Still needs some help with the fork.
And most importantly some cute pics of the little man!
I love the pics! Brayden is really enjoying his basketball hoop in the basement now, too. It's good that the ENT appointment was moved up. Hopefully they can get things figured out and "little" buddy can feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteGood to be getting the tubes early in the winter rather than have him get a lot of infections during cold season. It is so quick--the surgery and WELL worth it in the long run. Wish we were there to help out. LOVE the new pics. He will surely be "hopping it up" with our boys before we know it. Praying things smooth out for him soon.
