Grandparents & Cookies

We spent the weekend in Willmar at Grandpa and Grandma Moorlags. Logan had so much fun playing with all of daddy's old toys! We also met up with the Bonnema crew for church. Logan sat through an entire hour and half service at church!! It probably helped that he could sit next to his cousin Brayden which helped keep him occupied.

Reading books before bed with Grandma and Grandpa M.

Logan's new Twins sweatshirt we'll be putting to good use this season! So many toys

Tonight Logan helped me bake some cookies. He thought it was a lot of fun to help mommy in the kitchen.

Such a good mixer

Enjoying the fruits of our labor

Can't you just hear him begging for more...mom thought one was more than enough :-)

HELP!!!

So before my blogging days my hubby and I spent many a days fixing up our house (with the help of many family and friends). It is completely different inside...and somewhat out. I should probably post some pics of all our hard work because it really was such a big change.
Now that warmer weather is on its way we are getting the itch for house projects. Usually I'm pretty decisive about what I like or don't like. However, when it comes to painting the outside of the house I'm just not sure what to do.

When we bought our house the outside looked like this:

We have since taken down a tree, put in a window for the basement and added cedar shake siding.
Much better! However, we are still left with the green trim I've wanted to change since day one! Now to the hard part....what color should replace the ugly green trim/garage door? We were thinking about going with a chocolate brown, but I'm not sure how it will look with the cedar. We've also thought of going with a more neutral green? The siding of our house is a grayish brown (maybe even a little green?). Uhh, I just can't decide! If anyone has any input feel free to comment or talk to me :-) Any advice would be appreciated!!!

Behind Again

So I've been pretty bad about posting this month. I've been picking up a few more shifts at work and if I'm not at work I'm usually exhausted. By 9:00 pm I'm usually done for the day. I've been feeling the baby kick every once in awhile which makes everything worth it!
Ryan and I have been absolutely trying to enjoy every single moment with Logan at this stage. He has been healthy for awhile now which has been great, knock on wood!!! We find ourselves just watching him and laughing because he is such a character. Or it is just amusing to watch him try to learn something new. Even when he is throwing a tantrum it can be pretty funny...sometimes :-)
He likes to repeat a lot of words after us. His newest is trying to repeat 'happy birthday', happy comes out pretty good and birthday is usually pretty interesting :-) The best is hearing our little man say 'wuv ya'! Oh it makes me sad how quickly time goes...or I'm just extra emotional ;-)

Coloring with the beautiful sun shining, so excited for spring!

Concentrating very hard. This is also the chair Logan eats at now...so big :-)
