Take Me Out To The Ballgame
Last Saturday we took Logan to his first Twins game. We ended up going to the game late after Logan's nap. It was a good thing we went late because Logan definitely would not have made it through the whole thing! Logan loved cheering and dancing with everyone else in the crowd. He just wasn't very into sitting still on our laps. Ryan and I didn't really get to watch the game, but it was a fun experience for Logan. Needless to say we will probably wait until he is a bit older for round 2!
What a special treat - ice cream in a mini Twins helmet. Also a good view of my big belly :-)
Logan & Daddy - There was no way I could actually get him to look at the camera with everything else going on!

Family Time
Brent, Becky, Brayden and Noah came up from Iowa this weekend and graciously babysat Logan for us on Friday night so we could go to our high school friend's wedding. It was fun to have a night out catching up with old friends!
Logan was thrilled to have Brayden and Noah around to keep him occupied. Logan learned some valuable sharing lessons with Brayden :0) But overall the boys had a blast playing together. Logan absolutely adores Noah...sometimes a little too much. We might have to work on personal space with babies before August!! Here are some pictures from our visit to the zoo this morning. After this visit to the zoo I'm totally over wanting Logan to stay this age forever!! Too many tantrums :-) We did have a lot of fun with Brent, Becky and the boys. Wish they lived closer so we could hang out more often! PS - The reason we don't have any zoo pictures of Noah is because he was hanging out in his stroller sleeping the whole time, but he did enjoy his first visit to the zoo!

Stay This Age Forever
So this morning I found myself getting emotional over the fact that Logan will be turning 2 in August....I'm partially blaming this on being pregnant. I found myself wishing Logan would just stay this age forever so I could:
- Always feel like I'm winning the lottery when he sleeps in until 7:00 am.
- Hear him say 'mama' excitedly when I pick him up after work and see him run at me with open arms.
- Listen to him call his blanket 'butt' because he doesn't know how to say it right yet.
- Read just one more book before bedtime because who can resist a face like that when he asks.
- Actually enjoy getting up at night if he wakes up because I secretly enjoy rocking him for 10 minutes.
- Watch him push his toy mower around the yard chasing daddy while he is mowing the lawn.
- Be in awe of how much he seems to learn every day.
- Feel him pat my tummy and then lift up my shirt to give the baby kisses.
- Feel important when he gets a bump and mommy's kiss makes it all better.
- Feel his arms wrapped tightly around my neck for the best hugs...followed by a nice slobbery kiss.
- Listen to his laugh when daddy tickles him with his scruffy face. He has a great belly laugh.
- Watch him sit on the potty, not really go, but just make the sounds 'pssss' and then say 'all done'.
- Listen to him only sing 'row, row, row' when we are singing row row row your boat.
- Watch him try to curl his arms and show his muscles while he makes a "manly" grunt.
- Watch him sit in the back seat of the car intently "reading" his books as we drive along.
So many things that I just love about this stage! But Ryan reminded me that I need to look forward to every stage. And I do! I just think I needed to get all these memories down so when he turns 16 and does things I won't ever understand I can look back and remember all the sweet little things he did now :0)
