6 Month Pics

Here are the pictures from Lily's 6 month session. We had the pictures taken by Photography by Nealy. Nealy always does an amazing job. It was really hard to pick through all the pictures. But here were some of our favorites. Lily is such a beautiful girl! We feel so blessed to be her parents and have her in our lives! I still see so much of Logan in her, you can definitely tell they are siblings :)

6 Months Update

Lily turned 6 months at the end of February. It's hard to remember what life was like before she arrived. We have loved every moment with our sweet little girl! She is so laid back. She is a great eater, great sleeper, but not such a great pooper :) It's fun to see her face light up when she sees daddy or mommy. But the person who can get the most smiles and giggles out of Lily is Logan! She absolutely adores him. Thankfully the feelings are mutual. Logan has such a sweet heart and likes to include Lily in everything, he will ask "Luly come to?". The other day we went into Lily's room after a nap, Logan climbed up to her crib and he said to her "Oh Luly, I just love you so much". Melts a mother's heart :) Unfortunately, all the attention Logan gives Lily has also led to a 6 month old with lots of sniffles and a cough. But other than a couple colds she has stayed fairly healthy and continues to grow well. She has been trying so hard to figure out how to scoot forward, but it hasn't clicked yet. She keeps trying to get on her knees and lift up her belly...getting closer. A lot of times she just turns in circles :) Here are the stats from her appt:

Weight: 17.8 lbs - 76%

Length: 28 in - 98%

Head: 17 in - 69%

Snow has found it's way to Minnesota. Here are some pictures from last week's snowfall and it sounds like there might be some more on the way....just when I was starting to get spring fever :)

Luckily I got proof that we built a snowman because Logan took care of knocking it all down...oh boys :)

So Hungry

Well Lily keeps growing and growing. I started Logan on rice cereal about a week before he turned 6 months. With Lily she just seems to be hungry a lot. She was showing all signs that she was ready to start cereal so I figured why not give it a try. She loves it! The first time she had a little difficulty getting it all in and down correctly. But she has gotten a little better each time. She has downed each bowl with no problems. Looks like she will be taking after her big brother :)

Sitting Up

Well since both kids are still sleeping, thought I would have time to post this picture :) Before you turn green with envy...Lily did get up at 6:00 to eat then went back to sleep and Logan has a really bad cold and really needs his sleep! But here is my little sweetie getting too big for her own good already. She first rolled over at 5 weeks, at Christmas she started rolling over both ways and now she is sitting up (ok only for like 20-30 seconds and then tips over!). It is all a normal process, but seems to be going so quickly.
