Sweet Singing

Logan has been very into music lately. He loves to listen to his CD's and have dance parties in the kitchen with mom. This morning he was singing so sweetly I had to try and capture it. He switched to a different song in the middle, but so cute!

So I am a little behind in posting! But just like everyone else we have been busy celebrating with family and friends over the holidays. Still thought I should try to get a little caught up and what better place to start than talking about my sweet little Lily :) She did awesome when we were at my parents for Christmas. We got home and she decided to get difficult. She did not want to sleep at all today and then we discovered her first tooth coming in! It always feels better when you find the answer behind things. Hopefully teething is the only thing we are dealing with. We had her 4 month check at the end of December and here are her stats:

Weight: 14.15 lbs - 79%

Height: 26 3/4 '' - 99%

Head: 16 1/2 '' - 78%

Lily can now join us at the table :)

Lily's Dedication

We had Lily's dedication the Sunday after Thanksgiving. We couldn't feel more blessed to be the parents of this sweet little girl! We know God has an amazing plan for Lily and we are excited to watch it unfold. The life verse we have chosen for Lily is Psalm 119:73-74 "Your hands made me and formed me; give me understanding to learn your commands. May those who fear you rejoice when they see me, for I have put my hope in your word." Here are some pics from Lily's special day:

Our Thanksgiving

We celebrated Thanksgiving with the Moorlags this year. We were so excited for Lily to get to meet some more of her cousins! Lily seemed a little overwhelmed with all the activity, but she started to calm down as time went on. Regardless there were lots of open arms to welcome her :) Logan had a blast playing with all the kids. He is pretty bored at home now with only dad, mom and Lily to entertain him. Time always seems to go so fast when we get together. It always leaves us waiting anxiously for our next visit!

It's Cold Outside!

Well the snow finally found its way to MN. I have to admit I love how everything looks so peaceful with a fresh layer of snow and chunky snowflakes falling. Logan was very excited about the snow this morning. He was pulling daddy then mommy over to the window exclaiming "It's snowing!" Thankfully Ryan was able to get the yard all cleaned up for the last time before all this snow sets in. Now we are hiding away in our cozy home. I have these baking in the oven. Yum!!! And we will be setting up our Christmas tree later tonight. I know some people may think it is too early, but we will be gone next weekend. And since Christmas is a favorite holiday in this household, no one seems to mind. On a completely unrelated topic, we snapped some pictures of Lily during her bath time a couple days ago. When I saw the pictures I thought they looked pretty close to some other ones we had :) I am probably the only one who really enjoys the comparison...but it is all in fun.
